It’s been too long since I spoke to you. Too long since I’ve embraced you. Too long since I last heard your voice. Your laughter.

I’ve missed you, you know. Too much and I can’t tell you how much it hurts to even look at you anymore.

We share the same lectures 4 hours every week. You were always there, sitting a few rows behind me every single week. I’d see you standing along the corridor with your friends and I can’t even look at you and smile. I don’t even know why, but I just can’t.

It pains me to know that we’ve grown apart and I don’t exactly know why. All the times we were there for one another, hearing either one of us cry over the phone about anything and everything. Those times when everything was caving in and everything else was just falling apart but we knew everything’s gonna be okay because we had one another. Those days when we had our own bitch fits and threw at one another. Those days when it was just you and me, against the rest of the world.

I can’t tell you how much it would mean for me to have you back. Or the very least, speak to me again. I know I’ve done you wrong. Disappointed you on countless occasions, but I never once wanted you to leave.

I’m sorry you haven’t heard from me. I wanted to reach out to you, tell you I’m sorry but each time I try, I couldn’t find the right words to say. Even if you never wanna speak to me ever again, I pray He will always protect and guide you in every aspect of your life.

I may never have been a good friend. I may have taken you for granted but I have always believed that you were my person.
